The countdown is over, and the II FISU AMÉRICA GAMES, an international event that will put Yucatán and Mexico before the eyes of the world, is already a reality, receiving talented university athletes looking to represent their country with dignity and pride in two weeks of competition.

More than a thousand people from the participating delegations including athletes, officials and commissioners will be arriving in the Yucatecan capital, who will compete in 11 disciplines from October 15 to 26: Chess, Athletics, Basketball, Soccer, Futsal, Judo, Weightlifting , Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Archery and Indoor Volleyball.

The competition venues are the the Zamná Poliforum, Club Campestre, Mesón de la Luna Hotel, Anáhuac Mayab University, Salvador Alvarado Stadium, “Carlos Iturralde” Stadium, Marist University, Rogers Hall Sports University, “Socorro Cerón” Multigym, “Francisco de Montejo” Sports Unit and the Convention Center “XXI Century”, the latter will also house the dining room and the Operational Center of the event.

FISU America, the Consejo Nacional del Deporte de la Educación (CONDDE) and the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY) as organizers of the event, they have everything ready to receive the people who come to play and enjoy this great event in its second edition, a sign of competition and healthy coexistence in favor of young people and all university sports.
